JOB DESCRIPTION AND RESPONSIBILITIES

For Acoustic Design Engineer

General competences:

5+ years of working experience in Audio component or hardware design;

-      Fluent English(both written and oral);

-      University degrees in engineering, major in electronics, acoustic, or related specialty;

-      Good project management and communication skill;

-      Self-motivated, responsible and able to work under press

-      Understand the acoustic compenets and audio products design guide line

-      Prefer to have RF and audio products develop experience.

-      Good skills to operate the B&K or other audio test system.

Responsibilities:

1.      Acoustic  Design development for Savox/ODM product projects according to product specification and design policy stated by the Chief Engineer (CE)

2.      Acoustic design documentation

3.      Aduio test planning, co-ordination and implementation of tests according to test plans

4.      Product project HW/Audio folder structure maintenance

5.      Responsible for guiding Acoustic and HW subcontractors in R&D work

6.      Participates management of existing products in relation to Acoustic

7.      Responsible for productionizing of given product projects related to Acoustic

8.      Responsible for DFMA support in relation to Acoustic

9.      Responsible for sourcing support in relation to Acoustic

10.  Responsible for speaker and Mic selection and quilaifiction

11.  Responsible for audio tester design and spec review

12.  Prototype / demonstrator construction

13.  Carry out activities in support of products in the areas of quality verification, quality improvements, cost savings and failure analysis from existing production.
