RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Responsible for defining the audio system requirements, audio performance specification of audio products. Lead all audio and acoustic related project tasks from concept study to mass production.
? Responsible for engineering analysis to select and execute detailed acoustics and audio system design including speakers, microphones, audio Codec circuit etc. Work with internal cross-function teams and OEM/ODM suppliers, to conduct design review before design release.
? Responsible for front-end audio architect feasibility studies, prototyping, pilot runs, acoustic and audio verifications, production line start-up support and systems development for new OEM/ODM projects.
? Responsible for fine-tuning the audio DSP (digital audio processing) with 3rd party DSP vendor to ensure the final product meets design goals.
? Must provide leadership in acoustics/audio core technology efforts and provide acoustics guidance to other functions such as Industrial Design, Production and Quality Assurance as well as the OEM/ODM suppliers.
? Lead the root cause analysis of audio failures with OEM/ODM suppliers for sustaining projects.
? Develop new technologies and platforms of acoustics & audio.

MUST HAVES:
? BS in Engineering or related technical discipline with emphasis in acoustics or electronics.
? Five + years of acoustic and audio design experience.
? Knowledge and experience in theories of acoustic design and sound quality, familiar with lumped element or FEM acoustic simulation.
? Intermediate audio electrical circuit design of audio codecs, audio amplifiers etc.
? Knowledge and experience in electro-acoustic transducers, e.g. microphones and speakers.
? Experience in reading and writing technical specifications in English
? Familiar with industry standards about audio requirements for Bluetooth headsets.
? Hands-on experience of prototyping and acoustic and audio verification measurements.
? Experience with lab equipment, i.e. B&K, Sound Check, Audio Precision and ACQUA or equivalent systems.
? Able to carry out designs independently, and be able to coordinate with team members from other functions, e.g. industrial design, mechanical, electrical, manufacturing and quality assurance, etc. -- A good team player
? Skill to be cost sensitive in terms of high volume products from definition to mass production on tight schedules.
? Good written and verbal communication skills in both English and Chinese.
? Good interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively in global audio teams across different design centers.
? Good computer skills

VERY DESIRABLE
? Experience on telephone terminal test equipment and systems.
? Experience on MSFT Skype For Business certification audio requirements.
? Knowledge of basic audio digital signal processing, like VAD（voice activity detector）, AEC (acoustic echo canceller) and NR (noise reduction)…
? Advanced degree in acoustics.
? Technical leadership experience.
? Experience with subjective evaluation and critical listening of headsets.
? Experience with Matlab programming, PSpice/MicroCap simulation etc.
? Experience with DOE, statistical process control and root cause analysis methodologies.
? Experience in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint and Project.
